About the event

Our team will guide you on a strandline walk along Langdon beach, looking out for mermaid’s purses (shark and ray egg cases) and other interesting finds along the way, ending with a small chocolate prize!

We'll also be joined by experts from the Shark Trust, who are celebrating 20 years of their Great Eggcase Hunt!

Meet outside Wembury Marine Centre at 9:45am.

Please wear sturdy footwear and clothes suitable for the weather.

Please note, dogs are not permitted on Wembury Beach in the summer months, but they are welcome to join us on Langdon Beach. National Trust car parking charges apply at Wembury beach. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Photographs may be taken during the event for social media purposes, please let a member of staff know if you do not want to be included in these.

Cancellation Policy – requested refunds will be automatically issued up to 1 day before the event starts, minus the Eventbrite booking fee. If the event is cancelled by us due to poor weather, you will receive a full refund.
